Spain had a general strike yesterday.
There is a big uproar with some of the new bills that were passed through Rajoy, and the labor unions organized a huge strike. That means, nobody picked up the trash, metros were very scarce and nobody went to school or work.
I was shocked how they advertised for it. There were groups who literally covered the ground with stickers that were then picked up by people and plastered EVERYWHERE.
Then around seven o'clock, people gathered together and marched the streets.
People came up with creative ways to express their feelings about the situations. Signs, funeral attire, posters, drum lines you name it, someone was dressed up like it.
As for me, I spent my day off at an Art Gallery seeing pieces by Chagall.
